Amy Elizabeth Sattler of Jeffersonville, NY, a lifetime area resident, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. She was 23.

The daughter of William and Kelly Hendrickson Sattler, she was born December 19, 1987 in Harris.

Amy was a wonderful daughter and a beautiful person inside and out. Our lives will never be the same without her beautiful smile and her ability to make you feel as if you were special and loved. She was our sunshine, our life. She loved music and being outdoors, especially on a four-wheeler. The family plans a memorial, built by her “Poppa Bear,” so that Amy may spend her eternity at her happiest place to be. Later her friends will be notified so they may share her love of nature.

She is survived by her parents of Jeffersonville; sisters Alisha Sattler Purdy and husband Gregg of Monticello, NY, Bridget Sattler of Albany, Ashley Sattler and Heather Sattler of Jeffersonville; brother William Sattler Jr. of Jeffersonville; paternal grandmother Heidi Sattler of Jeffersonville; maternal grandmother Sylvia Hendrickson of Jeffersonville; nieces Ariana and Piper Purdy and Memphis and Clover Oathout; brother-in-law Edward Oathout; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services were held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Jeffersonville.
