PORT JERVIS, NY — The third annual America the Beautiful Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 14 and 15, to celebrate the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army and the country we call home.
The main part of the festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. It all takes place at New Century, 517 Neversink Dr.
Coffey Anderson will perform “Mr. Red White and Blue”; and Dave Bray, better known as Dave Bray USA, will sing patriotic anthems.
Families can enjoy the carnival, with 15 rides and games, which actually takes place from Thursday, June 12 through Sunday.
Saturday night boasts a fireworks display; you’ll find a historical village with reenactors; the Center of Influence Car Show will be there, along with touch-a-truck military vehicles; and don’t miss the food vendors and the beer garden.
Admission is free, but parking is limited. See the website below for costs and to book a space.
