LIBERTY, NY — Access Physical Therapy & Wellness has announced the promotion of Dr. Julie A. Benzenberg to clinic director for its office located at 1987 NY-52. Benzenberg is replacing Robert Dolney, who is relocating to become a traveling therapist.

Benzenberg obtained a bachelor of arts in health science and a doctorate in physical therapy. She is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP), and an APTA certified clinical instructor. She holds a certification in LSVT BIG, a treatment program for Parkinson disease and other neurological conditions. In addition, she has experience in outpatient orthopedics and acute and sub-acute care.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve the community as a part of the Liberty team,” said Benzenberg. “I believe in implementing evidence-based practice with individualized plans for each person in order to help them reach their goals.”

Prior to this role, Benzenberg was a physical therapist at Access Physical Therapy & Wellness in Goshen, NY. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2011.
