HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Historical Society joins in the celebration of Honesdale National Bank’s 175th birthday with the release of this year’s ornament depicting the bank. The Honesdale Bank opened its doors in 1836, with Richard L. Seely as its first president, and although its name has been changed, it has provided 175 years of continuous service to the Wayne County community.

The price of the collectible ornament is $17.50. It is available at the Wayne County Historical Society Museum Shop, 810 Main St., and at other outlets including the Wayne County Public Library, 1406 N. Main St., the Hanson Gallery & Decorium, 1037 Main St., and Morning Glory Gifts, 617 Main St.

The ornament (and a selection of previous years’ designs) can also be ordered from the historical society’s website, waynehistorypa.org. Email wchshop@ptd.net or call 570/253-3240.
