Tri-Valley Hosts Invitational Track & Field Meet, invitational

GRAHAMSVILLE, NY — On Saturday, April 13, several Division I and II track and field teams competed in the 2019 Tri-Valley Invitational.

Gravity always wins. Wallkill’s sophomore pole-vaulter Louis Martinez seems to defy Newton’s laws of motion and universal gravitation midair during the 2019 Tri-Valley Invitational.

Division I team scores (boys): Pine Bush 256, Arlington 185.5, Wallkill 168.3, Kingston 95.33 and Peekskill 16.

Division I team scores (girls): Arlington290.5, Kingston 170, Pine Bush 161, Wallkill 100.5, St. Francis Prep 93.5 and Peekskill 5.

Division II team scores (boys): Tri-Valley 135, Liberty 57.83, Ellenville 54, Sullivan West 53, Pine Plains 50, Downsville 24, Chester 22.5 and Eldred 18.5.

Division II team scores (girls): Pine Plains 54, Sullivan West 53.5, Ellenville 52, Fallsburg 23, Chester 23, Downsville 19, Tri-Valley 19, Marlboro 17, Chapel Field 13 and Eldred 8.

Due to Spring break, a lot of the local high school scholar athletes were absent, but will return to track and field completion after April 23.
