A 21-year-old Bronx man has been sentenced after being convicted of second-degree Murder for the 2013 shooting of a 19-year-old man in the Tremont section of the Bronx. He was also sentenced for gun possession based on a photograph of him holding the murder weapon posted on Facebook.

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office charged a New York City man on December 14, with fraudulently registering to vote. It is alleged that on November 20, 2015, Hamo Hot, age 34, of 1402 Avenue K in Brooklyn walked into the Sullivan County Board of Elections in Monticello and filed a voter registration form. Mr.
Shalom Lamm, the developer behind the controversial 396-unit development and two of his associates have been indicted by Federal Prosecutor Phreet Bharara. The indictment was released today, and there are also reports that Lamm has been arrested.

On December 4th, 2016 the New York State Police at Catskill arrested Shawn O’Neil, age 38, of Catskill, NY for two counts of Reckless Endangerment 2nd, one count of Assault 3rd and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, all Class A Misdemeanors.
On 11/30/16, New York State Police at Catskill arrested SHYQUAN MILLER, age 22, of Hudson, NY. MILLER was arrested as the result of a traffic stop on State Route 23 in the Village of Catskill. During the traffic stop, the trooper detected an odor of marihuana and asked MILLER to exit the vehicle. MILLER exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
Elmo Rivadeneira 32, on December 2 was sentenced to 25 years in in state prison for violently sexually assaulting two women in Fall 2004. On November 2, 2016, Rivadeneira pleaded guilty in New York State Supreme Court to rape and ateempted rape.
