On Thursday March 30, 2017 at about 6:00 AM the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at 12 Cedar Rd. in the Wurtsboro Hills section of the Town of Mamakating. At the residence deputies found 37 year old Jose Luis Davila in possession of drugs, a scale with packaging materials, an unlicensed handgun and a shotgun.
TOWN OF THOMPSON, NY — Two men have been arrested for participating in the operation of a marijuana grow house at 70 Hill Top Road in the Town of Thompsom.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the property on March 29, and found the two suspects tending to the plants,

A 35-year-old queens man has been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals for the killing of a 12-year-old female pug, whom the defendant allegedly threw from a balcony on March 17, 2017, following a dispute with his ex-girlfriend about who would care for the dog.
On March 8, 2017 at approximately 8:40 PM, the Sheriff’s Patrol responded to a 911 call of a burglary in progress at 225 Fraser Road in the Town of Thompson. The caller stated that a male subject threw a brick through a window at that location and attempted to gain entry.
A Queens County grand jury has indicted a Hollis, Queens, man for a second time this year on kidnapping, sex trafficking and other charges for forcing a 15-year-old girl into prostitution. Last month the Hollis resident was similarly indicted for forcing a 21-year-old woman he met on a phone dating service into prostitution.

A New York City man on March 7 was convicted of the murder of NYPD Detective Randolph Holder in East Harlem in Octoner 2015. He is expected to by sentenced on April 3, and he could face life in prison
Janine Edwards, Wayne County District Attorney, announced today that Kevin Gugliotta, age 55, from Mahwah, New Jersey pled guilty to Dissemination of Photos/Film of Child Sex Acts, a Felony of the 3rd Degree, for which he faces up to 7 years incarceration and a $15,000.00 fine.
