Steven A Dellert of Shohola, PA, passed away Thursday, April 25 at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care in Lake Ariel, PA. The son of the late Charles and Justine Eckhart Dellert, he was born July 18, 1952. He was 66 years old.

Steven had retired from Narrowsburg/Dirlam Lumber after 36 years of employment. He was a lifetime member of Shohola Volunteer Fire Department and was a former township supervisor.

 He took several trips to the 1000 Islands, fishing with his brother, sons and other close friends and family. He loved to ‘attempt’ to play golf and loved to cook.

 Survivors include his wife Marilyn; one daughter, Karin Willis and her husband, Raymond, of Milford, PA; two sons, Justin and his wife, Melanie, of Kennett Square, PA and Brad and his wife, Francesca, of Philadelphia, PA; six grandchildren, Brigette, Heidi, Dayna and Paige Willis and Mikayla and Brayden Dellert; one brother; Charles Jr., and his wife, Patricia; one sister, Carol Loiodice, and a companion, Patrick; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Harrison Rasmussen Funeral Home in Barryville, NY. Memorial service will follow visitation and Rev. Rolf Buchmann will officiate. Burial of Steven’s remains will be in the St. Ann’s Cemetery, Shohola, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steven’s name to the Pike County Humane Society or the Shohola Volunteer Fire Department.
