Farmer declares zoning victory

LIBERTY, NY — Sean Zigmund, who has a farming operation in White Sulphur Springs, has been railing against proposed zoning changes in the hamlet for months. He sent an email to supporters on October 19 declaring a victory in his battle against the plans put forward by the town board in the Town of Liberty.

ArtWalk paints the town

CALLICOON, NY — The third annual ArtWalk in Callicoon, which unfolded over the weekend of October 8 and 9, was a hit, according to this year’s event organizer. Artist and graphic designer Alexis Siroc said, “Art was viewed, art was sold, it was good. The buzz on the street was that everyone was so pleased.”
