BARRYVILLE, NY — No doubt because of her professional experience with sharp instruments, Cathy Daboul of River Valley Family Medical was chosen to handle the scissors at the Greater Barryville Chamber of Commerce’s January 7 ribbon-cutting.

The event celebrated the new 200-seat banquet room at the Catskill Mountains Resort. Resort owner Bill Zaccari, at her left in the photo, is one of seven brothers, several of whom were in attendance along with family, friends and area patrons. Resort general manager Andrew Filone is at her right, next to Peter Zaccari.

In addition to the banquet room, the resort’s Mountainside Restaurant offers a full breakfast and dinner menu, while the adjoining Zac’s Wilderness Lounge and Bistro has a full bar, large flat-screen TVs, arcade games and bar menu, in house or to-go.
