MILFORD, PA — James William Lore, 44, of Wappingers Falls, NY, was sentenced to 14 months to five years in a state correctional facility, fined $2,700 and had his driver’s license suspended for a duration to be determined by PennDOT for the crime of driving under the influence of alcohol and the summary offense of driving while operating privilege suspended or revoked.

Eastern Pike Regional Police responded to a vehicle crash on I-84 in Westfall Township on November 28, 2013, where Lore had crashed his vehicle into a concrete construction barrier. The officer detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage while speaking with Lore and observed him to have difficulty standing and his eyes bloodshot. The officer also observed opened and unopened beer bottles in his vehicle. Lore refused to submit to a breath test.
