HONESDALE, PA — The Roots & Rhythm Music and Arts Festival has announced the headliner for its 14th annual festival.
The Black Lillies' is a band of roots-rockers known for their captivating blend of rock & roll and country. Their newest album, "Stranger To Me," released independently last fall, debuting #5 on the Billboard Folk/Americana Chart, #9 on the Billboard Current Country Chart and #61 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart.
This free music and arts event will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 in downtown Honesdale along Main Street and in Central Park. The Black Lillies' is the latest headliner in a line of nationally known acts performing free of charge for this non-profit event. The rest of the lineup for the main stage includes three more bands that will be announced soon.
For 14 years, the Roots & Rhythm Festival has been free and open to the public, put on entirely by volunteers and supported by sponsors, donors and grants. As a result of ongoing sustainability efforts, Roots & Rhythm is now considered "zero waste." Visit www.honesdalerootsandrhythm.com for more information.
