LIBERTY, NY — The Town of Liberty was awarded a $90,000 grant from Sen. John Bonacic through the New York State and Municipal Facilities Capital Program. Funds will be used to repair and repaint the siding at the town hall, repurpose space at the parks and recreation building to increase utility and relocate offices within the Keller Building to make better use of the facility.
“The town is very grateful to Sen. Bonacic,” said Liberty Town Supervisor Charlie Barbuti upon receiving the grant. “The financial assistance we have received from the senator will permit the town offices to remain in the village... The campus generates much needed activity to our downtown, attracting visitors and residents alike, all of which are essential to the village remaining the center of our community.”
