Oh my goodness, it feels like summer is here early. I think I like the cold better—no bugs or allergies. I love to shovel snow when it is not too heavy and wet. I like to put a sweater on to warm up. When it is hot out, there are just so many pieces of clothing you can take off. One time, when I was taking Tommy to the VA in Monticello, Father Bill wanted the good Jewish rye bread, so we stopped into the Jewish bakery. There was a big bouncer at the door, and I when asked him if they really needed a bouncer, he said, “just watch when they bring out the breads.” He was right. They brought out a tray of bread and they were all fighting over the burnt ones. I grabbed Father’s bread and got out of there fast. When I brought it to Father Bill, he said, “You went in there dressed like that?” (I had on shorts and a tank tee shirt.) I said yes. He cracked up laughing and said, “That’s the most woman flesh they’ve seen in their lifetime.” Speaking of Father Bill, I was with him last weekend—he is doing good, but is very frustrated that he cannot do everything he wants to do.
