'Angels in America'

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — The SUNY Sullivan Theater Program will present performances of “Angels in America: Millenium Approaches” on Thursdays to Sundays from May 3 to May 13. Performances will be held in the Seelig Theater on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — SUNY Sullivan will host its annual Kite Festival on Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the campus green, with a multitude of events happening throughout the college. This festival is free and sponsored by SUNY Sullivan, in conjunction with the Sullivan County Visitors Association, WSUL/WVOS Radio and Thunder 102.

Water war discussion at SUNY

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — Just as the 20th century has often been called “the century of oil,” the 21st century has been dubbed by some, “the century of water.” SUNY Sullivan will host an evening of discussion exploring the past and present issues surrounding water access in the U.S. and abroad on Monday, April 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

SUNY celebrates Earth Day

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — SUNY Sullivan will host a variety of events across campus in celebration of Earth Day on Thursday, April 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Campus clubs and organizations as well as community groups will participate in the celebration, including SUNY Sullivan’s Earth Guardians and the college’s garden club.
