CCE ‘s annual meeting: farm, food and family

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — At the Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County (CCESC) annual meeting December 12, the theme will be farms, food and family. The event will take place at New Hope Community in Loch Sheldrake, 870 State Rte. 52, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., with a snow date of December 19.

Creamery to open at SUNY Sullivan

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — SUNY Sullivan announced on November 27 that Catskill Creamery has been approved to participate in the START-UP NY program in partnership with the college. A press release from the college says the owners of the creamery plan to invest more than $9 million in the project and to create at least 56 jobs within five years.
