LIBERTY, NY — Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County (CCESC)’s Caregiver Resource Center will offer a free web seminar on medication management on Thursday, November 8, from 3 to 4 p.m., at 64 Ferndale-Loomis Rd.
Twenty percent of surveyed seniors have some difficulty managing their medications, and 57% of surveyed North American seniors are taking four or more prescription medications on a daily basis. Participants will learn to identify the potential risks of medication mismanagement, understand common medication challenges and signs and recognize risks of common conditions that impact medication management
The seminar, sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care®, is approved for American Occupational Therapy Association contact hours in addition to continuing education units approved for all American Society on Aging web seminars.
