'Parallel Freefall'

HAWLEY, PA — “Parallel Freefall” is a collection of collaborative works on paper and canvas created by Rhonda Miller and Alexis Siroc over one year’s time. Selections from the work are on display at Cocoon Coffee House in Hawley, PA during the months of May and June.

Honesdale students win Pike/Wayne Envirothon

HAWLEY, PA — The Wayne Highlands School District team, the Spudsters, from Honesdale High School, are the overall winners of the 2018 Pike/Wayne Envirothon. Second place went to Enviro Freaks of Wallenpaupack Area School District.

The ambulance service has failed to comply with information requests of the borough council and as a result, Commonwealth EMS has been the first service called by 911 dispatch.

HAWLEY, PA — Whom do you call in Hawley if you need an ambulance? According to Sue Baldwin, who lives in the Hawley Village Apartments, residents there want Hawley Ambulance to be called first. At the most recent meeting of the Hawley Borough Council, she said that those responders know the tenants and they have access to the complex.
