JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — Augmenting a $5,000 grant from the Delaware Highlands Conservancy, Sullivan County will funnel $491,250 in New York State funds to a Jeffersonville farm to preserve agricultural land, protect a municipal water supply and boost agritourism.

Arts grant cycle opens

SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — Delaware Valley Arts Alliance’s (DVAA) 2019 Decentralization Grant cycle has begun for organizations and artists in Sullivan County. Grants are for nonprofit arts, cultural and heritage groups that wish to create, produce, or present cultural year-round programming in Sullivan County during 2019.

Honesdale goes out on a limb

HONESDALE, PA — “I feel really conflicted on this one, to say the least,” said President Mike Augello, before voting at the August 13 Honesdale Borough Council meeting to approve a request from Human Services Center, Inc. (HSC) for sponsorship of its local-share grant application for $59,194.

Applications for grants for projects in the Delaware River Watershed are being accepted. 
 

River habitat grants sought

REGION — The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) is seeking grant applications for projects that will restore habitat for wildlife in the Delaware River watershed. The matching grants will range from $50,000 to $250,000.  The grant will come from the newly established Delaware Watershed Conservation Fund.
