MONTICELLO, NY — Donate Life Day was celebrated at the Department of Motor Vehicles office on April 21. All customers were offered refreshments, plus giveaways to those who signed up to be an organ donor. As of April 24, the office had signed up 143 new organ donors.
LIBERTY, NY — The Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group meets the first Tuesday of each month at Achieve Rehab & Nursing Facility at 170 Lake St., from 6 to 7:30 p.m. These meetings are open to all caregivers and family members of people with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia.
