The Liberty Wedge was a musical group formed to raise money in Wayne County for Liberty Bonds. Wayne County played an active part in World War I, beginning with the local Company E of the 13th Regiment of the Pennsylvania National Guard.

I went down to Queens to help my sister Maryanne celebrate her 64th birthday on Monday July 31st.  She has a hard time on her birthday—she always celebrated it with our parents. My Dad and Mom were both born on the same day, August 1. I wanted to do something special for her, but no planes, trains or packing.

ROSCOE, NY — The legendary Antrim Lodge has submitted a Consolidated Funding Application to the Mid-Hudson Economic Development Council to complete the reconstruction of the 127-year-old facility, which was severely damaged by a combination of flooding and fire in the 2004-2006 period.

Edward F. Dermody was born in Cochecton Center on April 4, 1879. He was educated in the Cochecton township schools. His brother Will owned a store in Cochecton, where he took his first job; it lasted 20 years. He then bought into partnership with another brother, Martin, who leased the A. G. Gregg store in Damascus, PA.
