HAWLEY, PA — Earlier this month, Conde Nast Traveler named The Lodge at Woodloch the number one resort in all of Pennsylvania in the media company’s roundup of top hotels and resorts by state.
“This lodge in northeast Pennsylvania may just be the perfect weekend getaway,” the roundup reads, pointing out the 12-year-old locale’s proximity to New York City, private lake, fishing and biking trips and oversized marble bathrooms. Brooke Jennings, spokesperson for Woodloch, said the lodge is a boon not just for tourists, but also for the surrounding community. “From day spa packages, salon services and day of adventure packages, or even a romantic dinner for two, the options are endless to sneak away for a little stay-cation sanctuary,” she said in a release.
