WAYNE COUNTY, PA — The Pocono Arts Council announced recipients of the 2018 PA Partners in the Arts grants earlier this month, and several Wayne County art groups made the list. This year, the council will split more than $100,000 among 65 organizations in a five-county region. The Bethany Public Library, Lacawac Sanctuary Foundation, The Cooperage Project, Maple City Jazz Festival, Honesdale Roots & Rhythm Festival, Ritz Company Playhouse and the Wayne County Arts Alliance have all receieved either PPA project stream or program stream grants this year.
An awards ceremony to honor the recipients will take place December 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Pocono Cinema & Cultural Center, 88 S. Courtland St., East Stroudsburg. More information can be found at www.poconoarts.org.
