HONESDALE, PA — Kathleen Chicoski, left, pantry director of the Wayne County Food Pantry Program, is shown receiving a check for $1,000 from Barbara Leo of the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (UDUUF). The food pantry program helps about 500 households each month with a bag or box of food to help stretch limited budgets. There are five pantry locations, in Damascus, Honesdale, Lakeville, Lakewood and Newfoundland. The award is part of a $10,000 Giving Campaign by the UDUUF to local organizations that work to fostering social justice and community building.
