BLOOMINGBURG, NY — A Beginning Farmer Tailgate Talks series of rotating farm-hosted potlucks will continue Tuesday, July 10 at Winterton Farms at 689 Winterton Rd. The discussion will cover maple syrup, honey, vegetable and lavender production at the Winterton operation. All Tailgate Talks are held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Participants are asked to bring a dish or beverage to share.
Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County (CCESC) offers this free series of discussions about farming and marketing products throughout the growing season, from the point of view of successful farmers in the area Participants can network, learn the diversity of industry options available and develop relationships within the agricultural community.
