BEACH LAKE, PA — Tom Lisenbee, local poet and musician, will present a reading, “God, don’t take the name in vain” from Yuval Harari’s recent book, “21 Lessons for the 21st Century,” December 9 at 10:15 a.m.

Harari is an Israeli historian and a tenured professor in the Department of History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is also the author of the international bestsellers “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” and “Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow.” In this recent book, Haeri focuses on the problems we’re now facing, including terrorism and “fake news.” He offers solutions and tips on navigating the future we face, with the power of clarity. The one hour service, sponsored by the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, will be held at the Berlin Township Community Center. Directions can be found at www.uduuf.org.
