MONTICELLO, NY — The annual poinsettia sale benefitting the Sullivan County Office for the Aging Nutrition Program has begun. Six-and-a-half inch pots of pink, white, marble or red poinsettias are being sold for $10 each. To order a poinsettia, call 845/807-0247 by November 16; payment must also be submitted by that date, via either cash or check. Checks should be made out to Nutrition Advisory. Monies can be dropped off at the Office for the Aging or mailed to Office for the Aging, 100 North St., Monticello NY 12701, Attention Nutrition.
Pickups will be on Friday, December 7 at the government center on North Street, when there will also be a soup sale sponsored by the Office for the Aging Nutrition Advisory. Call the above number to make special arrangements if you can’t make the pickup date.
The nutrition program supports frail and elderly seniors, enabling the office to touch senior’s lives by daily contact, deliver meals, or socialization at one of 12 Senior Dining Centers throughout Sullivan County.
