LIBERTY, NY — The Town of Liberty Parks & Recreation Department will host Mad Science of the Mid-Hudson, a special program to educate the public on science in an entertaining way. The program will consist of two free events for the community December 8 at the Liberty High School Gym.
The first demonstration, “Up, Up and Away,” delves into scientific principles related to air and pressure, and will be from 10 to 11 a.m. “Reactions in Action Fire & Ice,” which focuses on chemistry and chemical reactions will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
This program is funded in part by a grant from the New York State Office of Children & Family Services through the Sullivan County Youth Bureau. The events are free for all Liberty residents. For more information, visit the Town of Liberty’s website or call 845/292-7690.
