HONESDALE, PA — Three individuals were honored at the Wayne County Historical Society’s annual awards ceremony on Saturday, October 20. It is an annual tradition that has honored many individuals, groups and businesses for their efforts in preserving the history of the area.
This year’s Historic Preservation Award recipients are Juan Espino, for his many projects promoting the history of our area; Tony and Donna Micheletti, for the restoration of the Davall House, Lakewood; and Ronald and Sally Talaga, for the restoration of Glassworker’s House #7, White Mills.
Nominations are accepted every year; applications for future nominations are available at www.waynehistorypa.org or at the Wayne County Historical Society.
