BEACH LAKE, PA — The Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will present a service about “El Dia de los Muertos,” the Day of the Dead, on Sunday, October 28 at 10:15 a.m. at the Berlin Township Community Center. During the Mexican holiday, festivities unfold over two days in an explosion of color and life-affirming joy. The theme is death, but the point is to demonstrate love and respect for deceased family members.

Participants will create an ofrenda, a festive altar of remembrance, and add a picture or small memento to celebrate ancestors and other loved and honored dead. The one-hour service will be followed by a social time with light refreshments. All are invited. For directions visit www.uduuf.org.
