The charm of Narrowsburg

The reason my husband and I like Narrowsburg, NY so very much is it’s such a quaint little town, with all the charm and beauty of small-town America, yet there’s no shortage of hip little boutiques, delicious restaurants and much culture. The people are always friendly, welcoming and always willing to give a helping hand.

This adorable little town has everything from gourmet food, to wonderful festivals, parades and even opera on occasion. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s in the pristine Catskill mountains, surrounded by roaring rivers, majestic eagles flying over head and some of the most breathtaking views around.

Plus, it’s just a hop, skip and jump away from New York City—which makes it the perfect weekend getaway from all the hustle and bustle. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone—do yourself a favor and come check out Narrowsburg NY for yourself.

Oh, and I’d also like to add how you get such a different experience in Narrowsburg—depending on which season you visit. Summer is absolutely amazing for hiking and river swimming, rafting, fishing, camping and more. The fall, oh my gosh, the fall is so beautiful that words can’t even describe, but I’ll try.

The colors, the stunning waterfalls, the foliage and the sight of all the wildlife—just to name a few reasons to visit in the fall. Winter is like a winter wonderland, with that very distinct cozy smell of wood burning stoves roaring and the glistening of icicles hanging from the bare trees. Excitement is in the air for all the holidays to come and we’re just a short ride over a very small bridge to get to Pennsylvania, where some of the most fun skiing, tubing and snowboarding is happening.

Last, but not least, is spring, when everyone is so excited about all the beautiful flowers and trees starting to bloom again and there’s beauty to be seen everywhere.

So please come join us in this amazing little tucked-away gem in the Catskills called Narrowsburg, NY.
