LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — Foster Supply Hospitality has appointed Vanessa Hadden as its new executive chef of The Arnold House, a Catskills getaway on Shandelee Mountain.

Hadden received a culinary arts degree from Paul Smith’s College for Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management and an advanced pastry arts degree from Sullivan County Community College. Afterward, she traveled to Alyeska Prince Resort in Alaska, where she worked as a pastry chef, and Kiawah Island Resort in Charleston, SC.

She initially joined the staff as a pastry and sous chef at The Arnold House in 2014. Now that she’s taking a lead role, Hadden said in a release she is looking forward to developing a culinary experience that will illuminate the region’s strengths. “There are so many amazing local farms in our region,” she said. “I’m excited to be able to continue working with such great products.”
