WAYMART, PA — Billy’s New Hope Barn will hold a country music hoedown on Sunday, September 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Camp Ladore, 287 Owego Tpk. Recording artist Nikki Briar will provide music for listening as well as getting your feet tapping and joining your friends for line dancing. A lunch buffet will be provided by Camp Ladore, served from 12 noon to 2 p.m., and baskets will be raffled off.

All proceeds benefit neglected and abused animals at Billy’s New Hope Barn, a local non-profit farm animal rescue, located outside of Honesdale in Cherry Ridge Township. Marcie and Jerry Bunting care for pigs, goats, cows and other neglected or abused animals. Since they receive no corporate funding, Billy’s New Hope Barn depends on fundraisers and the kindness of those in surrounding communities to help pay for feed and shelter for the animals. 

Tickets cost $30 per person or two for $50 for adults, $15 for children four to 12, and free for children under four. They will be sold at the door. Call 570/253-2510 for more information.
