Catskill Regional Urgent Care receives certification

MONTICELLO, NY — Catskill Regional Medical Group Urgent Care (CRMGUC) has received the Certified Urgent Care designation, distinguishing it as a Certified Urgent Care Category 2 facility. CRMGUC, located at the corner of Route 42 and Concord Road, provides access to fast, comprehensive and professional health care to patients in need of immediate medical attention but who do not require a visit to the emergency room.

This designation places the facility among a select few such centers across the country to have met all established criteria of the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA). It is the only urgent care in Sullivan County to have earned this designation from the UCAOA.

Urgent care is an option for medical conditions that cannot wait for a scheduled appointment with a primary-care physician. CRMGUC accepts walk-in patients with no appointments necessary during hours of operation, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.

For medical conditions that can’t wait—such as cuts, burns, sprains or fractures—and that do not require a visit to the emergency department, the facility is equipped with X-ray and laboratory services, and licensed providers are always available to perform minor procedures like splinting and suturing.
