HONESDALE, PA — Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) has announced that certified family nurse practitioner April Alexander has joined the staff of the largest of its nine primary care practices. She is seeing patients at Highland Physicians Family Health Center located at 1839 Fair Ave.

Alexander worked as a registered nurse for five years before completing the education and clinical experience required to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her bachelor’s and associate degrees in Nursing from Penn State University and ultimately a master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner graduating with a GPA of 3.97.
