NARROWSBURG, NY — Food Chain Upper Delaware Valley, a recently formed meetup group for area food entrepreneurs, will host its inaugural spring conference on Saturday, May 6 at The Narrowsburg Union. The group has partnered with the New York Small Scale Food Producers Association (NYSSFPA) to line up a day of expert panel discussions and seminars designed to help small-scale food businesses plan, grow and manage their businesses. Presenters include farm-to-market consultant Maria Grimaldi; food business entrepreneurs James Lomax, Beth Linskey, Danielle Gaebel and Jennifer Bitetto; and Ben Wiessmann from the soon-to-be-launched Catskills Food Hub. Breakout sessions will follow the talks.

The NYSSFPA is trade association of small-scale food processors that works by collaborating with partners in business, government, public and non-profit organizations.

Pre-registration for this conference can be completed at www.narrowsburgunion.com/foodchain. The $45 fee includes a box lunch from Early Bird Cookery as well as coffee and refreshments. For a schedule and more information, visit www.meetup.com/The-Food-Chain-Upper-Delaware-River-Valley.
