ROCK HILL, NY — The Sergeant Andrew Brucher Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5499 of Kauneonga Lake marked its 50th anniversary recently with a celebration at the Sullivan in Rock Hill. Guests of honor were Mabel Brucher, pictured third from left, and family. U.S. Rep. John Faso was the evening’s main speaker. Also in attendance were VFW State Commander Mike Burke and District 2 Commander Ed Todd, Korean War veteran and founding Charter Member Ray Jankowski as well as Bethel Supervisor Dan Strum, Sullivan County Legislator Scott Samuelson and Sullivan County Veterans Director John Crotty.
