Narrowsburg Farmers’ Market opens
NARROWSBURG, NY — The Narrowsburg Farmers’ Market will kick off its season this Memorial Day Weekend, on Friday, May 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. The market, located at The Narrowsburg Union, will be held every Friday through October 6. This is the only Friday night market in the Sullivan County Catskills. It features fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, eggs, honey, teas, coffees, prepared foods and more.
In its second year, the market has expanded, and vendors now include Butchie’s Organic Farm, Chaljeri Meats, Gorzynski Farm, 2 Queens Honey, Delaware Dogs, Woodside Blue Preserve, Awestruck Ciders, and Prohibition Distillery, among other.
There will also be special events and live music held during the market throughout the season, starting on opening night with short ballet and modern dance pieces performed by the Catskill Dance Company at 6 p.m. For more information visit www.facebook.com/nar rowsburgfarmersmarket.
