HONESDALE, PA — Zoe Mulford and Brad Yoder will perform at The Cooperage on Saturday, November 17 at 8 p.m.
Backing her clear voice with guitar or Appalachian claw-hammer banjo, Mulford has established herself as a contemporary songwriter with a grounding in traditional American, English and Celtic music. In 2018, Joan Baez covered her song, “The President Sang Amazing Grace.” She has been described as “a brilliant, highly original songwriter who delivers her music with warmth, sincerity and a bit of a twinkle,” said Rich Warren, host of “Midnight Special” on Chicago’s WFMT-FM.
Acknowledged by Pittsburgh Magazine as “ruling the Pittsburgh coffeehouse scene,” Brad Yoder logs over 150 performances annually, playing colleges, cafés, churches, festivals, First Nights and the zoo. Brad has opened for a diverse range of artists, including Erin McKeown, the Cowboy Junkies and Emmylou Harris, and played the second stage for David Gray, Peter Paul & Mary, and Steve Earle/Jackson Browne.
The suggested donation is $20 for reserved seats, $25 day of the show. To make reservations call 845/252-6783 Snacks will be available for purchase. BYOB.
