JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — Students at Sullivan West Elementary School collected 2,287 non-perishable food items, which they then donated to local food pantries, including the Ecumenical Food Pantry in Narrowsburg. “Some children used their own allowances to purchase items,” said Joann Lettendre.
The third grade class collected the most items and won the opportunity to silly string assistant principal Kevin Carbone.
