WHITE MILLS, PA — Antiques, historic landmarks and a chance to do good for community non-profit organizations are once again the focus of this year’s 32nd annual Fall Foliage Antique Show at the Dorflinger Cutting Glass Factory. The show will be October 6 and 7 at the factory on Route 6—at the traffic light midway between Hawley and Honesdale—from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the show costs $5.
The show got its start in 1986, when a small group of antique dealers and preservation buffs got together to benefit Hawley’s Ritz Theatre. More than three decades later, the event has expanded to also benefit the Hawley Public Library and the Dorflinger Factory Museum. The show includes tours of the restored Dorflinger Factory office building and showroom, as well as more recent exhibits throughout the property. The LaTournous Glass Collection will be on display as well as furniture, art, paintings and prints, jewelry and more, for sale from vendors throughout the Northeast.
Returning exhibitors this year include Bittersweet Antiques, Miss Elly’s Antiques & Such, Barbara’s Books, Ann Street Antiques, Dakey & Fritz and The Glass Hat. Historical societies from the area will also offer information and selected items. For more information call 570/226-7513.
