MILFORD, PA — The downtown businesses of Milford Presents are keeping with tradition by hosting the 11th annual Share the Harvest party on Monday, September 17, to benefit the local Ecumenical Food Pantry. A full-course meal will be provided by the area’s most beloved eateries at St Patrick’s Church Hall, with live music by guitarist Leo B for the duration of the dinner, from 6 to 9 p.m. Milford Presents raised $4,500 cash and a truckload of food for local neighbors in need through 2017’s event and anticipates exceeding that this year, with your participation.

While the buffet-style dinner of eclectic offerings takes center stage, Share the Harvest’s prize drawing features 50-plus prizes, original artwork and gift cards donated by area businesses. Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food items; for each item brought you will receive a raffle ticket. There is no limit to the number of pantry items guests can donate. Prizes include gift certificates and gift items from favorite stores. There will also be a 50/50, with a cash prize estimated at $250.

Tickets cost $30, or $50 per couple, and must be purchased in advance; 100% of proceeds will be donated to the food pantry. They can be purchased at The Craft Show (120 E. Harford St.). To participate in the event, donate to the food pantry, volunteer at the party, or reserve a table for your party of eight ($200), call Amy Eisenberg at 570/296-5662.
