Rock ‘n Roll at The Cooperage
HONESDALE, PA — Groove to music by The Dives while you chow down on a taco from the Walking Taco Food Truck on Friday, October 12 at The Cooperage. The doors open at 7 p.m. and music starts at 7:30 p.m.
With a sound that’s both fresh and familiar, The Dives are continuing a journey that began less than two years ago. The past year was filled with exciting firsts for The Dives, as the band celebrated its debut release, “Everybody’s Talkin,” featuring four original tracks, at a release party doubling as a European tour send-off. The band has been featured in the seminal rock weekly The Aquarian and on the cover of the UK’s Classic Rock Magazine.
Mike Lefton on guitar and vocals has shared the stage with artists including Simon Kirke from Bad Company, producer and singer/songwriter Mark Hudson and Godfrey Townsend. Sergio Ortega on the bass and vocals is a multi-instrumentalist hailing from Indiana, and a graduate of Berklee College of Music who has performed for Broadway. Jimmy Meier on the drums and vocals grew up in New Jersey and pursued songwriting in production in college. He produces music outside of the band.
