BARRYVILLE, NY — Local music, contests and plenty of pie will kick off the spooky season at this year’s Pumpkin Fest. Festivities will be October 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. behind the Carriage House at 3351 Rte. 97.
The day will feature the premiere of the Sullivan Sings! talent show and performances from local musicians, including Bobby Kyle and the Administers, beginning at 11 a.m. Other activities throughout the day include pie-eating and costume contests, pumpkin carving, a bake-off and a scarecrow design contest.
