Learn how to find harmonies with duo Gathering Sparks

HONESDALE, PA — On Sunday, March 10 from 3 to 5 p.m., The Cooperage is hosting a harmony workshop with Eve Goldberg and Jane Lewis of Gathering Sparks. Attendees will learn how to listen for harmonies through exercises in song. The suggested donation is $25 per person in advance, $30 at the door, or $15 with a student ID. Delaware Valley High School’s annual art exhibit

MILFORD, PA — The Delaware Valley High School (DVHS) is hosting its annual exhibit at the ARTery Gallery from March 8 to April 8. Free film screening and discussion

MILFORD, PA — TriVersity is presenting a free screening of “Rainbow Ending: Making it Better Now” on March 9 at 2 p.m. at the Fauchere Meeting Center. After the film, executive director Cindy Stine will lead a panel discussion with some members featured in the film and other local activists.



Chi Hive open house

NARROWSBURG, NY — The Chi Hive on Main Street is announcing its expansion with an open house. HONESDALE, PA — The Cooperage is celebrating Honesdale’s Second Saturday, March 9, with bluegrass duo Josh Sudigala and David Cavage. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the music begins at 7:30. This free event is supported by the Villaume Foundation and is BYOB.



Local musicians open for Flora Cash

SCRANTON, PA — On Friday, March 8, Stage West presents Indie-pop duo Flora Cash and alt-rock/pop recording artist Kulick. Gabby Borges of Hawley and Wilkes-Barre’s The Charming Beards open the show. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music starts at 8. Tickets cost $15 in advance, $18 the day of the show and can be purchased at www.bit.ly/stagewestTRR. This is a 21+ event.



New exhibit at Bannerman Island Gallery

BEACON, NY — From March 9 to May 26, visitors can view a contemporary landscape exhibition featuring five different landscape artists: Daniela Cooney, Tarryl Gabel, Laura Garramone, Judith Beringer-Hraniotis and Susan Miiller. Antique photo restoration with Chip Forelli

JEFFERSONVILLE & CALLICOON, NY — Photographic technician Chip Forelli is sharing his techniques for restoring vintage and damaged photographs. Some of his restoration projects are historic family heirlooms that have been damaged with the passing of time and improper care. Attendees will learn these techniques on Adobe Photoshop.
