NARROWSBURG, NY — The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance 2019 Salon Series, featuring free art events on Saturday afternoons, kicks off at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 9 with a documentary called “More Art Upstairs.”
The film follows four artists who venture outside Manhattan’s art world to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where they try to win over the public and the critics in a $500,000 art competition. The next installment of the series will be Oliver King bringing to life abolitionist, poet and statesman Frederick Douglass’s work.
