JEFFERSONVILLE — Last weekend Hilly Acres Farm opened its doors for its annual family-fun day at the farm. According to Tanya Hahn, who runs the farm with her husband Andy and son Mike, the multi-generation family farm does this to raise community awareness of agriculture and to offer a first-hand farm experience. Children and their families got the opportunity to churn and taste fresh butter, eat fabulous ice cream, tour the pig barn, partake in a pig roast, experience a spinning demonstration, go on a hayride and generally enjoy the idyllic landscape of the farm.
