HONESDALE, PA — During his usual wintertime shower on Main Street, Michael G. Stanton, in coordination with 95.3 DNH raised more than $20,000 for the Wayne County Children’s Christmas Bureau.

The Christmas Bureau works with the Wayne County volunteer program and the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce to deliver gifts and cheer to children throughout the holiday season.

Stanton showered outside for much of the day Saturday, collecting money, honks and well wishes from passerby, and accepting donations in the form of food from local shops.
