HAWLEY, PA — On August 4 and 5, quality dealers from throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic will once again assemble for the 49th annual Wayne, Pike and Sullivan counties Antiques Dealers Association Show and Sale. The venue for the 2018 event will be the Wallenpaupack North Intermediate School, one mile east of Hawley, PA, off Route 6. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
The show will include an extensive and varied array of merchandise, from art pottery, painting and prints, to vintage linens, clothing, jewelry, furniture and glassware. Visitors can also expect to find primitives, toys, mid-century modern, fine porcelain and even holiday items.
In addition to the show's exhibits, several regional historical societies will provide information about their respective organizations and events as well as offering information, reference books and other materials. For the more hands-on/do-it-yourselfer types, artisan and wood craftsman Harry DeVries will also be at the show demonstrating the fine art of chair caning, as well as examples of other materials such as rattan, rush and more.
The admission fee is $6 per person. Proceeds benefit historical, educational and preservation efforts and organizations in the tri-state area.
