BETHEL, NY — Shandelee Music Festival (SMF) concludes its 25th anniversary season with the Aletheia Piano Trio in a P.L.A.Y the Classics concert at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Sunday, October 7 at 3 p.m. The concert will feature the music of Mozart, Faure and Shostakovich, and will be followed by a specialty dessert reception.
Comprising violinist Francesca dePasquale, cellist Juliette Herlin, and pianist Fei-Fei Dong, the Aletheia Piano Trio was formed in 2013 at the Juilliard School. The trio has performed at the Rose Studio and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, and the Terrace Theater at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, among other venues.
P.L.A.Y. (Peace, Love, Art, You!) the Classics, a partnership between the SMF and Bethel Woods, provides not only an opportunity for classical music lovers to attend a concert during the spring and fall months but also introduces a love and appreciation of classical music to new audiences and youth in Sullivan County.
Tickets cost $35 for adults, $30 for Shandelee Music Festival members, and $10 for students 17 and under. Advanced reservations are required by calling 845/439-3277 or visiting www.shandelee.org.
