NARROWSBURG — The board of directors of the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) announced that Ariel Shanberg will join the organization as Executive Director in June 2017. Shanberg succeeds Elaine Giguere who co-founded and oversaw the non-profit arts organization for 42 years.

The Chi Hive Studio has moved from The Narrowsburg Union to Main Street. There are still a few renovations to be done, and the signs still need to go up, but while the workspace is itself a work in progress, the studio has already established itself as a center for mindfulness, creative expression and spiritual exploration.
HONESDALE, PA — Honesdale’s Train Day will take place on Saturday, May 20. You can bring the kids to Caboose Alley (behind the post office) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and then hop on board a caboose for a tour or climb aboard the engine to blow the whistle.
